Senior Product & UX Designer

Mike Newman

I’m a Senior Product and UX Designer with experience across government, enterprise, and commercial platforms. Most of my work has focused on complex, rules-driven systems where good design helps people understand decisions, processes, and edge cases with confidence.


I work hands-on across discovery, research, journey design, prototyping, and delivery, often embedded in agile product teams. I partner closely with product owners, engineers, content, and CX teams to define problems clearly, align stakeholders, and shape practical solutions that can be delivered.


Over time, my role has increasingly sat early in the lifecycle - helping teams move from uncertainty to clarity, establish shared patterns, and improve design quality across platforms. I bring a pragmatic, collaborative approach, backed by experience working at scale in regulated environments.


I’m SAFe® 6 certified and comfortable working across strategy and delivery, but my focus remains on making complex systems easier to use and easier to trust.
